Uncategorised8.9-friday-faves

Hi friends! Happy Friday! What are you up to this weekend? I’m meeting up with a friend for brunch, Liv and I have a volunteer event, P is back to basketball, and we’re back in the school/homework shuffle. I’m hoping I can get in a hot yoga class, too.

I hope you have a fun and relaxing weekend ahead. It’s time for the weekly Friday Faves party! This is where I share some of my favorite finds from the week and around the web. I always love to hear about your faves, too, so please shout out something you’re loving in the comments section below!

7.26 Friday Faves

Fashion + beauty + random:

This nail polish. I’ve been giving my nails a break from dip since my favorite nail girl has been away for a couple of months, and decided to give this a try after Julie recommended it. It smoothes out the surface of your nails (which is helpful if they’ve been drilled a bit for dip and gel) and gives a nice, neutral shade.

July reader Faves! It’s always fun to go back through analytics and see which products you enjoyed the most that I shared here on the blog.

Here are the top picks from July:

Our suitcases! We have three because they’re inexpensive, look nice, and are durable.

These three-piece travel pajamas.

Olive Peeling. I’ve been using this as a gentle exfoliator. It doesn’t have a scent and works well but is still gentle enough for sensitive skin.

This camera – it makes an excellent gift for tweens.

These are the Pilot’s everyday shoes. (They are SO light and I kinf of want some lol)

This super cute vest outfit.

This egg chair.

This Free People dupe. I get compliments every time I wear this.

This packable sun visor.

Frownies!

The best Chelsea boots

The holy grail for shoes

These comfy joggers

These jeans. I got a pair during the Nordstrom Sale and LOVE them. So soft and fit perfectly. I need to get them hemmed (such is life) but the fit is excellent.

Read, watch, listen:

My friend Giselle recommended this book. It’s definitely eye-opening and gives a lot of helpful tips in this technology-heavy world we live in, and how to navigate it with kids.

This was EPIC.

Don’t forget to listen to this week’s podcast episode on maybe why dairy isn’t the enemy. 😉

Autoimmune disease: the shocking triggers you need to know.

Liv discovered the new Great Gatsby musical and we’ve been listening to the soundtrack. This song is banger (she hates when I say that lol).

Fitness, health, life, and good eats:

Felt good to get back into workouts! I’ve taken a couple of Pilates classes and a barre class since we’ve been back.

Put on a new Nutrisense CGM this week and it’s been so helpful to get this data… especially since we were gone a lot between a couple of weeks each in Spain and Hawaii. I ate a lot more restaurant food, drank more alcohol, but my stress was WAY lower. I’m interested to continue to see the data. If you’d like to learn more, you can check out my full review of Nutrisense and use GINA50 here for $50 off.

Pacha! I’ve been obsessed with these gluten-free buns and they only have three ingredients. They’re perfect for sardine melts, PB&Js, and eggs with avocado and sriracha.

Made this tart again for last night’s family dinner!

Danielle and Trevor’s baby shower! I can’t believe our little niece will be here in a couple of months! She had a beauiful shower at the Carriage House with the best food from El Charro, a full bar, fun games, and we all oohed and ahhed over all of the. adorable baby gifts. So so excited for them.

Have a happy weekend and I’ll see ya soon. Have a wonderful weekend, friends!

xoxo
